Year 3 design their characters

Third Class I are just starting the process of preparing for their Shakespeare Festival. They are doing The Comedy of Errors, one of Shakespeare's shortest, most farcical comedies, with most of the humour coming from slapstick, mistaken identity, puns and word play.

Two sets of identical twins were accidentally separated at birth. Antipholus of Syracuse and his servant, Dromio of Syracuse, arrive in Ephesus, which turns out to be the home of their twin brothers, Antipholus of Ephesus and his servant, Dromio of Ephesus. When the Syracusans encounter their twins, a series of unfortunate events ensues, including the arrest of Antipholus of Ephesus, many false accusations and general confusion.

The class has chosen "Dr Seuss" as the theme for costumes and staging, and in an art class recently, the students drew their characters. Just some are shown below.
